Tranmere story
Dai Davies was a Welsh international goalkeeper from Glanaman. He played for Swansea City, Everton and Wrexham, winning 52 caps for Wales.
Davies helped Wrexham win the Third Division title in 1977–78 and returned to Swansea for their early-1980s top-flight period, winning the Welsh Cup in 1982. He joined Tranmere Rovers in 1983 before finishing his playing career with Bangor City. Davies died in February 2021.
